At Brain Film Fest we want everyone to enjoy the festival. We work to make it an open, safe, and inclusive space, regardless of each person’s abilities or needs.

What we do to be accessible

Audience Support
From February 18, we will have an audience support phone number, where we will help you with the ticket purchasing process and answer any questions from spectators.
You can call 616 05 76 68 from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can also send a WhatsApp message, and we will assist you during our support hours.

Information and support desk
There will be a desk specialized in accessibility. You can get help to move around, find your seat, or meet any special needs. The festival team has also received training to provide support before and during the event.

Accessible sessions
Some sessions will include:

  • Audio description for people with visual impairment.
  • Subtitles and sign language for people who are deaf.
  • Live subtitles at conferences and galas.
  • Relaxed sessions for people with neurodiversity.

You can check which sessions are accessible in the session details, in the program, or in the schedule grid. We will also do specific promotion of each accessible session so it is easy to identify and attend.

Assistance in the auditorium
Each auditorium will have at least two people with lights to help people with mobility or orientation difficulties find their seats safely.

Accessible program
The program will be available in easy-to-read format for download before the festival. There will also be braille programs available on-site for blind attendees.

Relaxed space
Inside the festival venue there will be a quiet space where people can rest or relax if needed.

Accessible communication
On social media and audiovisual materials:

  • We use clear and simple language.
  • We add descriptions to images and videos.
  • We include subtitles.
  • We explain the accessibility measures of the festival.
