Summer of 1993

This is the first summer that Frida, a six-year-old girl, is spending without her mother. In the heat of summer and in the middle of the countryside, she has to cope with being adopted by her new family, and they have to learn to love her as if she were their own daughter. Far from her familiar surroundings, she will have to adapt to a new life and say goodbye to her mother.
