The Festival

A careful selection of the best short films submitted to the official competition category organized by the festival. The participating projects are eligible for the Premi Solé Tura Awards, which are decided by the official jury of the current edition as well as the audiences attending the screenings in person.

Screening of the best national and international fiction feature films featuring the brain in their plotlines in order to contemplate the possibilities and problems revolving around this fascinating organ. The genres used can be endless, from fantasy films and creative science fiction to the best of comedy films.

A screen through which to observe the most moving investigative reports or the most poetic human experiences. This is the raw material of documentaries, aiming to open and expand our perspectives on the capabilities of the brain as well as its associated pathologies.
